An old fashioned board game was the inspiration for this quilt...though it isn't really a game, it looks like one!
All of the 'board' spaces and the photographs of those great golden era of Hollywood screen goddess are computer generated and printed on fabric.
This colorful and graphic quilt looks very 'pop' trendy and modern when exhibited...and I realized when it was shown at the New Haven Woodworks that it looks terrific over a dining room table!

This quilt is the result of two different online challenges: one was a nine-patch variation challenge, and the other was an icon challenge.
The images of Marilyn Monroe were created using Bubble Jet Set and my ink jet printer.
The piece is shimmery and shiny - like a Marilyn Monroe quilt should be!
