Recent Work and Work Available for Acquisition

I began this series in 2004 and have enjoyed the process of using the computer to print images on fabric - and having fun learning about fused applique.

I can see developing these techniques in new directions and incorporating and combining other embellishing techniques.

I began this series in February during the 'blizzard of '03' and it created a virtual blizzard of quilts! The Blizzard series includes 15 quilts in which I explored the 'x' shape and 3-d effects with color and value changs. It was also an experiment in creating very graphic and symetrical quilts - without using rulers! Whenever I get stuck for an idea for a new quilt, I return to this series and always get inspired!

I am having a great time creating quilts that pay homage to some of the great movie goddesses! With the Hollywood film industry being a century old, there is never a loss for wonderful inspirations!

There are always days when the quilt I've decided to work on doesn't belong in any of my current series. Sometimes these quilts are a response to a 'challenge' from an online group or an exhibition organization - sometimes just a flash of an idea that I feel the need to explore.
